About us

Professional Affiliations

JPC Decor is an active participant in the apprentice scheme run jointly by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), and education establishments throughout the country.
Apprentices are generally taken on by employers on leaving scheme, and split their time between work based learning, and instruction at college.
On successful completion of the first two years, the apprentices receive NVQ Level 2, which replaced the previous City & Guilds qualification. They are then given the opportunity to further their education for a final year to obtain their advanced craft, NVQ Level 3.
Further information on the apprentice scheme can be found on the CITB website at www.citb.co.uk

Trade Accreditation

Membership of the Painting & Decorating Association (PDA) offers benefits and peace of mind to any customer using a PDA approved company.
This company was vetted in 2004, and on successful completion was welcomed to the PDA in July 2004. The initial vetting involved the submission of references from a variety of customers, and provide proof of qualifications held.
Periodically, the PDA will randomly re-assess member companies to ensure that the expected high standards are being maintained.
It is stipulated that quality materials are used, work guaranteed, and proof of public/ employers liability held.

Approach to Work
JPC Decor has a substantial employee base, all of whom are qualified, time served, or both. You will find them to be reliable, pleasant and courteous.

The service you will receive from the initial meeting is one that will continue right through to the completion of the job. At the beginning you will receive a fully detailed written quote, which we have found avoids any confusion as to what has been agreed, especially bearing in mind that you wouldn't be expecting us to start that day or the following week.

On acceptance of the quotation, you will receive a start date for the works, and will be contacted shortly before to confirm the time we will be arriving. Should the need arise in order to meet a deadline, which is something we take pride in, work can be carried out during evenings, weekends, and even Bank Holidays. However, should this not be possible, we will ensure that you are contacted early on to enable the job to be reĀscheduled to a time convenient to the customer.

From the minute we arrive on site, every care will be taken to ensure that the work is completed with as little disruption as possible, and furnishings, carpets and other surfaces are protected at all times. You will be kept up to date on progress throughout the project, and will be able to raise any concerns or request changes to the agreed works by speaking to the supervisor on site.

On completion, you should not only find the job completed to a high standard, but that there is no additional trace that we have worked there. We pride ourselves on making sure that everything is put back exactly where it was originally, and that it is clean and tidy.

We prefer to supply our own materials in order to guarantee their quality, and tend to use brands such as Dulux, Crown, and Sikkens.
